Show us your tiny kits

I played the same type of stuff (with the added element of some surf rock for good measure) and also only used a 2pc. I was constantly alternating between snare shuffles and steady 4/4 back beats with a slight swing... Didn't see a need for much else.

pretty much my same thoughts. I figured of Slim Jim Phantom could do it with 2, so can I
Stop looking so happy, people will think you're crazy going around crazy smiling like that all the time.

man...that is my "concentration face" b/c no song is ever played with the same phrasing twice in a row, and things can change in a second...and then I get the blame after for "not knowing the part"...especially in the early days when this pic was taken. It is way better now because I can anticipate when things are going to "have a life of their own". There were many gigs where verse 1 of song X had an 8 measure phrase, and then all of the sudden verse 2 had a 5 measure phrase....it usually depended on the singer messing up/forgetting the lyrics and just jumping to the chorus to recover...

my mini kit, a 16" kids bass drum with drill-bits as feet, a 13" CB perscussion brass snare, 10" hi hats, 8" splash, and a 16" crash used as a ride :) and the obligatory cowbell :)

not bas lil setup for the more intimate gigs :)

Where did you find that snare drum? Budget brass? That's worth finding haha
a friend of mine had it and i got it from him as it sounded almost identical to his worldmax, so he let it go to me :) its an oddity of a snare, made by CB percussion (cant find any info on them, and it doesnt look like the old CB700 drums) 2.3mm power hoops, only thing i did was swap the throw-off and it sounds great!

I found this little kit on kijiji. Perfemct size for my Granddaughte. Istripped them down then put them back together to see where they were at, and what. they would need. I am waiting to find a little hardware package , and some decent enough cymbals to complete the kit. When it gets a little nicer out l am going to strip them down and paint the shells as pink as l
can get them. She loves pink so that might be one little subliminal way to get her to make some noise with Gramps.

Have a hreat weekend and stay safe
