A sound percussion kit I’ve scored on the cheap and cleaned up nice. 8 lug bass drum and floor tom. 10, 13, 14, 18”.

8000 series Yamaha's. 20, 12, 14. Birch/Philippine Mahogany shells. My understanding is they only made these drums from 1980 to 1983. The Tour series. In '84, the Tour Custom was born, and a different, longer lug was used. These drums use the old (very Gretsch looking) split lug from the 9000 series and one of the shell recipe's from the 7000 series.

My four piece frankenkit made from 4 different brand drums and 9 different sources for parts. Also a Bum Wrap job on the drums.

Also shown is the original build as my, Bumble Bee Bop Kit.
