Roland TM2

Good morning!
I recently downloaded kick drum samples off a website.
I've formatted the SD card as instructed, removed metadata tags and for some reason it's still not registering on the module or letting me use the samples on the PA at rehearsals. It says 'unsupported format'.
If anyone could help, it would greatly appreciated.

I have yeah, for some reason it's now working. My main issue as well is that when I put it into a PA it doesn't work, which is quite strange.

Are.the samples the correct size and a wav file? Can you hear anything if you plug headphones in?

Yeah I can hear the samples just fine through headphones but through the pa it's not working

Are you able to hear stock sounds from it? If so, there's an issue with the imported samples.

Yes mate, I can hear the stock samples just fine.

I'm thinking that there's an issue with the formatting of the samples then. It's been a while since I added samples to my old TM-2 so I don't remember the required specs for them off the top of my head, but they are in the manual & online.

Yeah, I'm going to go to rehearsal and see what the score is and just see what happens

Prob not 16 bit samples. (poss 24 bit)
Run thru the free Alesis sample converter.

Thank you all for your help. Apologies for the late thank you, they even worked at rehearsal. Turns out they weren't 16 bit samples. Changed them and they worked. Thanks for all the help.
