I don't know if I can follow the story... I don't even understand the title.
 
The photo of the author appears to make him out of rhythm, and the Science 2.0 reminds me of Tosh 2.0. Sorry but I too followed none of that. And as drummers we try our best to stay in rhythm.
 
I don't hear the music in the fibonacci video posted in the article but many Tool fans will know that the sequence is used in the Lateralus lyrics.

This is so far off my radar it's untrue, yet I was compelled to read the entire article & watch all the videos. Only some of it spiked interest in me (namely phrasing sections), & the chances of me ever incorporating any aspect into my day to day playing is zero, yet I still appreciated the depth of information.

This stuff is really for clever people :(
