Red Barchetta - Rush (of course)

You didn't miss too damn many notes! Sounded great. What a perfect tribute to the professor on his birthday. ❤️

I always love hearing you do your thing, so thanks for this. You bring a great, visceral energy to the song here while still nailing the intricacies of the part. I used to love playing along to this song as I was growing up-- wish I'd had a video like this to help me figure out the trickier parts!

Bravo!

You really nailed it, well done!

I had no idea that a 1950s Slingerland Radio King could sound that good! That woody thock is so satisfying.

It's not often that a 64 year old snare can keep up with modern music, especially prog rock, but it fits perfectly here.

Did you get lucky with a great sounding Radio King, or are they all like that?

Is this song about driving a little red car and getting chased by aliens?

Crushed it...Fantastic!

Exactly! My ear has always been pretty decent but I’m a visual learner as well so vids like this really help to piece some things together . ( wish I never stopped playing and taking lessons years ago and continued to read as that’d help as well ) but next best thing for me is seeing as well as hearing the music.
@dwsabianguy , Always great to hear and SEE your playing ! Sooooo damn good and enjoyable 🙌🏼🤘🏼 🥁 !!!! Awesome job ! Thanks for posting 👍🏼

great tribute and detailed playing!!! Even down to the backwards 747's!!!!

I totally love this, your skill is amazing and what a great song. I can't play it on the drums but I have the drum track engraved in my memory probably like a bunch of rush fans. :)

I have to admit good job on picking the right drums, cymbals and accessories to mimic Niel's so accurately, it really takes a large kit and a lot of accessories, Damn!

Thanks for sharing.
