Question for Giant Beat owners…

I recently bought a used reissue Paiste GB 20” multi. Is it just me or is the color on this off? It looks much more, well coppery than most other Giant beats I’ve seen. Anyone ever seen one like this or know what’s going on? Sounds great, just curious.

Totally normal. I have some 14" GB hats that are about that color...a coppery brown color.

Oddly enough, that's the only brown Giant Beat I have. All the others; the 24", 20" 19", 18", 16" hats are all green.

When new, they have a thin coating that gives them more of that greyish tinge, and as it wears off you see the coppery colour of B8.

Green? Like patina covered?

Is that the paiste sealant you’re referring to? My pic actually makes it look lighter than it is

I remember getting a 24 giant beat ride from Memphis drumshop and when I opened it my first thought was wow..weird color. Reminded me of cymbals you see at pawn shops with a 19.95 tag..orbit brand.
