I was waiting for that shoe to drop. Right on. I watched it thanks for sharing.
So Mangano, what would you say is your greatest weakness? It's fun to share, we've all got one

Light foot on base kick.

Right on man, it is really good to really focus on time and making sound. I love it too. My kids are in that add/adhd thing too. I probably would have been too if there was such a thing back then. Let those rhythms pull you through the tough times, just put your mind on them and let it ride

Seriously: I always wanted a bigger and sound-proof space for practicing. I live in a small flat and I am happy with my daily routines on a Roland TD1-DMK...but a dedicated room with my Gretsch Catalina properly miked for recording....would be a blast!!!(y)(y)

A weakness of many drummers... from my interview with Michael McDermott, drummer for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts: You see it with the drum videos (some people) do. You're like, "How many times did you practice this song before you decided to record it? Sometimes you've got to practice it a couple more times."

But everybody's for the right now. Just slow down. It's not about how fast you can get that video out and uploaded and how many hits it gets. Learn the song. Love it. Really get into the tune and feel it. You can see when somebody is earnest about what they're doing.

Currently?
This exercise.
I practice it for weeks I get the first two bars but I can’t alternate between them and third bar isn’t working at all. The difficulty is using the Slide Technique for Bass Drum and sync it with the left hand (yup I’m a lefty).

Lefty is a beautiful thing. My late husband was left-handed and he was a multi-talented musician. He played the drums, keys and guitar. Lefties are very gifted and talented people.

I think for me currently........

1) Having a good flow across the kit

2) six stroke rolls and their orchestration

3) getting really feathery consistent ghost notes

4) avoiding vanilla slice from the local bakery

Thank you! Well, I just play drums and I find I’m playing quite ok but if I’m really good or not isn’t something I can tell myself.

3 - Jazz Medium Slow (4´s in "If I should Loose You")
4 - Jazz Medium 2005 (8´s on "Minority")
5 - Jazz Medium 1995 (8´s on tune based on "...")

I also have stuff on reading snare, rudiments, funk, latin, many other styes, etc. but little filmography because I don´t normally perform live those, maybe a song in the whole concert.
