Rest assured Pearl’s lines are built for “road worthiness” I wouldn’t expect these to be made out exclusively for basements and studios. You guys are hilarious! Ruling out a kit because of the logo on the bass drum head. Now I’ve heard it all!
I like the ripple finishes they have, they look and sound “vintage”, I like the option of the built in mufflers and the price I’m getting makes it a serious consideration. So does anyone actually play or own this kit, and can tell me it’s “road worthiness” and the general weight of the kit? I would plan on gigging with it.
75th anniversary and hardware wise they went all in with this kit!
Shell wise with pheno shells known for cut and projection, and luan well that’s an open sound that can be tempered for studio work, so I’d say these are built for hauls.
If your worried about weight, I’d like to give them a look to have for myself, where is this deal is you speak of?
