Drummers should always know the time. 😁
What Time Is It Burn GIF by Cameo

( Unless it's a timeless thread of course 🥴)
I wondered how long it was going to take for someone to say that...

Hi . . . my name is Vintage Old School and I got my start here resurrecting dead threads. It’s been 3,557 days since my last transgression.

I dunno that I've ever been the guy to resurrect an old thread, but I have certainly been guilty of posting in one that had been recently brought back from the dead, before realizing it. Or liking posts from years ago, lol. Both on this forum and another non-drum forum that I frequent. Sometimes it's fun to go back thru some of the old threads, and see posts by folks that I used to see all the time and not any longer.

I wish we would keep adding to old threads instead of making new ones. In tdpri (guitar forum) there are threads with thousands of entries. Everything you ever could want to know about the topic plus it is obvious that it is a popular topic. They have a special name for them that I can't remember, something like epic threads or some.

Plus adding to old threads keeps the sage advice given in yesteryear on the board. I'm fairly certain that threads here have a shelf life or max number per sub forum, and old ones are deleted
