Because Lars is still 60% of Metallica, all decisions go through him first so if he ever decides to let someone take the throne and the other guys are OK to still play...but I don't see it happening.

Some have. Plenty of successful songwriters are good drummers. In plenty of cases, better than Lars. Look, Metallica has a couple of listenable tunes with broad appeal. That’s about it. The rest are just about the vibe. Capturing the vibe is their whole schtick.

I like Ozzy that is a fact, I think Metallica's music is better, that's an opinion. Metallica is much more successful than Ozzy that is a fact. funny enough some of the first Metallica shows started by opening for Ozzy.
