need cases for mapex m birch (mapex cases? or protection racket)

Hey, I own a Mapex M birch, and I would like to buy some cases to transport them in (soft preferably).

I've read some topics about some saturn drums not fitting perfectly in protection racket bags. Is this the same with M birch? (not fitting perfectly, and also quite expensive)

Otherwise I would buy the mapex bags, because they should be made for them right? Are those bags any quality and what's the +/- price of them? (rock kit)

Or do you know other good (not to expensive) bags that will fit the mapex m birch.

Thanks,

Sven

I have Mapex M-Birch and Protection Racket cases....they fit perfectly.

P/R has cases sized for toms both with and without ISS Mounting Systems. I'm using the standard (non-ISS) cases with no issues.

If you ultimately decide on the Protection Racket bags, you will not be disappointed.

Cheers!

Thanks, gonna have some more thoughts about it.

And just to know, the mapex bags, are they any quality? Anyone used them?

Hi Sven.

I have never personally had any trouble fitting my M Birch into bags. I don't own Mapex bags however i use Stagg ones and they do the job brilliantly. If you are wanting to save money you should definately check out Staggs top range bags!
