The folks over there at Sonor seem obsessed with ugly finishes. Or is it just me? There are a couple there that look nice (I like the mahogany burst and black sparkle), but most are just atrocious.

I've been to their website and had a look at the finishes there, too, and thought the same thing. They're just busy as all giddy-up and they hurt my head. Seasick is more like it.
.
Strange. I was just thinking Sonor had put everyone else to shame including DW
Well, I was just at Sonor's website and with a cursory look, I couldn't find any finishes! What's up with that? I know I saw some there before... Am I missing something?Well, give an example one at a time.
Just give me a nice old set of Rosewood Phonics and I'll be happy.
You know what's funny, is the Rosewood is pretty much the same look for the outer ply, but those classic wood finishes just don't seem to look the same on 90's onward Sonor. IMO, it's the hardware that just does'nt look as "husky" or something.
Funny enough, for lugs, I think I actually prefer the Solid Force design over the delicate, dainty SQ/Delite/Classix...
really? i always thought the force lugs looked really cheap
