This is my Tama Swingstar Kit:

5 x 14 Snare
9 x 12 Rack Tom
10 x 13 Rack Tom
16 x 16 floor Tom

Cymbals: Sabian

B8 14" Hi Hats
B8 14" Thin Crash
B8 20" Ride
B8 18" China
B8 10" Splash
AAX 17" Stage Crash

the cymbals and the drums are a little dirty on the photos here
but in the next saturday im gonna play in a gig so i'll clean everything tomorrow

im gonna take some photos in the gig and upload it here


Ps. the room is a litle pink 'cause is my sister's room, i change the drums to her room for a while 'cause i needed some space in my room

Exactly! That's how I set up as well... completely inspired by using a four piece for a while. There is a thread that showcases a bunch of kits set up this way.

Swingstar shells are crafted of 8 plies of Philippine mahogany. You are correct, my friend.
Nice kit and setup. I wish I had the needed hardware to do that with my kit.

I used to have a swingstar and it had a steel snare. Swingstars are great kits!

Im not a huge fan of the cymbals, but other than that it all looks great. Probably incredibly comfortable.

Nice Swings but I think your specs are wrong.

TAMA swingstar in the generation of your never had 8x12 and 9x13 size. Their shallower size came out in 2005 and was 9x12 and 10x13 with 14x14 or 16x16 floor toms with legs or 11x14 & 13x16 suspended floor toms.
