Hi!
This has been my creation for the past year or so. I found this mint set of Baxter drums one day, and they had literally no bearing edges cut it, it was just a square profile of the unfinished shell. I had bearing edges cut into it by a local drum maker, Jeff Woods. He did an amazing job. It has a slightly rounded 45 degree profile, not a fully rounded baseball bat profile.
Soon after I found a Silvertone snare, and it was also blue, and made in Japan around the same time, so I thought it went well with my kit. The guy I bought the snare off of also had some interesting cymbals. I got a pair of 15" Canadian Zildjian hats there, and another modern crash. But this spawned the Canadian Zildjian collection, and I think I have it completed to couple my Baxter kit.
I have the 15" hats, a 16" crash, and 18" crash, a 20" ride, and a 22" china.
I was able to get a somewhat matching pair of Rogers Kick and Hi-Hat pedals, which was awesome.
Here's a quick video of me playing them. Behind the kit, the toms sounded much better with the muffling rings, without losing resonance or sustain, but made the note much more round, but in the recording the drums probably sound a bit better without the muffling.

I playing does become more tasteful over time, I promise.
On the toms I have really old Remo Ebony Ambassadors on the batter, and Clear Ambassadors on the resonant side. The snare has an Evans Hydraulic, and Evans 300 Snare side. Kick drum has an Old Evans EQ1 batter, and an Aquarian Regulator with 4" hole for the resonant.
Here are some pictures of the kit. If you guys would like close ups of the cymbals I have those and can post those.
Please let me know what you think!
It isn't quite authentic, and more of a mash up of random vintage gear, but it brings me joy!
