Mackie Onyx 16

Can anyone tell me where the inverse polarity switch/knob/button is located on the Mackie Onyx 16? I see it nowhere and I’ve read the manual, which was no help.

I need to reverse phase with snare top and bottom mics.

Thanks.

It probably doesn’t have them. I have a Mackie 1640i and it doesn’t have any polarity buttons, despite it having as many features as you could ever want in an affordable analog mixer. I ended up buying outboard mic pres with polarity switches and then running those though the line inputs on the Mackie.

ARTCessories Split-Com-Pro. I use this combined with two Audix i5 mics to mic my snare top and bottom. Uses up one channel on my board. I use the Mackie Onyx 24.

Are you recording to a DAW? if you are, you can invert the polarity within the track in your DAW, if you are recording to an SD card (in the Mackie) then you can import your tracks to a DAW and do the above. OR... you can try ToneT's approach.
