We love to watch the Olympics (both summer and winter games) in our household.
We also don't have cable, and were always at the mercy of whichever sports NBC (or any other OTA network) wanted to highlight on their main broadcast. Well that all changed for us this year, for we were finally able to upgrade our home internet service. So, now we have enough internet bandwidth to properly "stream" programming.
Peacock is one of our streaming services, and has a quite an extensive array of U.S. Olympic programming to choose from. So much so, that it almost seems like a overwhelming tidal wave of choices. You can pick from NBC's main broadcasts, selected highlights from various sports, complete replays of all events, follow individual U.S. athletes (like Simone Biles, or Katie Ledecky, etc...), and so on, and so on.
For example we streamed the Opening Ceremonies via Peacock, "on-demand" Friday night when we were ready to. So, I no longer had to record the whole 4 hour event on our DVR. Yesterday we watched/streamed a bit of Women's Water Polo, Men's Rugby finals, Women's Beach Volleyball, Men's and Women's Swimming, Men's and Women's Fencing, and ended the night watching Women's Surfing (from Tahiti). We've also watched some of USA Men's and Women's Soccer matches in their entirety.
Being without cable TV, it always kind of stunk in the past when we would invest our time watching the beginning of an Olympic sport/competition (shown on NBC's main channel), only to have them to say, "Tune in to USA Network, or MSNBC." just to see the continuation of their coverage. We don't have to worry about that anymore with streaming, and Peacock.
