Left foot clave - 3-beat patterns in 4/4, over a 2-3 son clave

It's part of a warm-up that I wrote and that I'm working on as well.
I play 3-beat patterns in 4/4 with the hands, over a 2-3 son clave played by the left foot and a tumbao played on the bass drum.
I wouldn't play this as it is in a musical situation, but I see it as an exercise comparable to a scale, so to speak.
Try to follow the clave, whatever happens on top, it's fun!

This is actually an advanced application of the concepts developed in my new drum book in project, Melodic Possibilities.
This link goes to all the pages of my blog, present and future, associated with this particular book:

Interesting and totally hypnotic. Reminds me of the Chambers Brothers, sort of. You have good control over left and right sides of the brain. Thanks for sharing.

Here I play random patterns, using ideas from the previous video in a more improvisational manner, over a 2-3 son clave and tumbao.
Again I wouldn't play so busy in a musical situation I guess, but I see it as a warm-up and trying to loosen up. Try to follow the clave, it can be fun!
