This will be my "retirement" kit, along with the maple sensitive in matching finish, 6.5"x13"... only about 5 years to go.

So glad Yamaha finally put some more finishes on the RCs.

Yup. Look at that snare in textured earth finish with golden hardware.
Like that guy even needs stuff like that. On the Modern Drummer 2005 DVD he was using one of those cheap Pearl pedals....and after years of demonstrating his prowess, he says he wants a new kind of pedal that doesn't get in the way of what he wants to play. Sheeesh!

I just got one of these new kits in 20, 10, 12, 14 sizes. They are absolutely wonderful drums.
My favorite kit I have ever owned.

I would love to have a recording custom. The only thing that I could say against them is that I'm not to fond about single lugs. Also, funny how the RC's are the only drums that sounds any open and good with Pinstripes on... it's a mystery.

Really like how he set his kit up from an original, smaller kit. The two smallest toms on the same position as it would on a five piece, which places the hi-hat closer. That's cool. Too deep, though, and kind of ugly finish art.
