It's been a while...

what drums were those and the snare drum..

I liked it sounds great.

And.. yesterday I heard a tom tom in there.. Sounded like a highly tensioned 8x12 or was it smaller.
(remember the tom dimensions) and what that one or so hit could been.
Sounded like a tight 8/12--
at the end 3:24

also the tune (as you (and the bass player) play it)..walks the line between straight and shuffle doesn't it : )
1:22-1:23 almost widens into : ) full shuffle

TBH at 3:24 I'm doing the ending on 3 toms, 10x9, 12x10, 16x16, 22x20, plus the snare

At around 1:22 or so the bass player changes from the pattern he plays for most of the song to a walking bass line

I did quarters on the BD when the walking starts, where before I'm doing dotted figures on the BD

Larry, that is world class driving - no discussion. It’s so “on point”. Love your vibe!

I liken your playing to another good friend of mine, Matt Cowley.
Garsh thanks my friend :)

And thank you as well Mr. @Al Strange

...Since I posted any playing. 2013 was the last time.

Here's a live cover of The Allman Brother's Band's cover of the Elmore James song "Done Somebody Wrong"

That was really tasty, Larry. You've mentioned before that you like a nice crispy snare, and you sure do make it work for you. Very nice playing, my friend, and a good band, too.

Fine playing Larry, you’re just driving that band brilliantly.

Stunning snare sound also.

Absolutely delicious playing, there is no part of your role in the music left unfilled... The recording is great too, everything has a nice space.

Thanks for sharing!
