iOS synth tracker for drum alongs

What are good synth trackers for writing drum alongs, also along those lines are there any good external sound cards for iPads? I know it has ear an ear phone jack, but I expect the sound quality to be limited. There are mic adapters, so I expect there should be mic+out adapters that support high bit rates.

I've looked at a couple, synth trackers. SunVox has one, seems similar to Jeskola Buzz.

Ideally, I would like to get a decent bass synth looper melody line going to play along with.
