Very nice. Is the Snare drum a custom model made to go with the Slingerlands?

A players slingy with Yamaha, DW and gibraltar hardware! Hand crafted cymbals and cheeky snare! Ken is pleased

Does that cowbell get much use? I try and fail to incorporate cowbell in jazz

Hi everyone
The kit is one I pieced together over two years
12x8, 1964 Slingerland Tom. Maple/mahogany/maple
14x14, 1966 Slingerland floor tom. Maple/mahogany/maple
16x13 bass drum. 1970s Slingerland 16x16 floor tom cut down. Maple/mahogany/maple.

I got the 16x16 and a 22x14 bass drum for free. Used the hardware from the bass drum for the conversion

I sent all those drums and my Modern Drum Shop snare 14x6.5 you see in the photos to precision drum company. They did all the wrapping and cutting etc. It's called Pink Glass Glitter.

The cymbals are all Modern k constantinoples
22" medium
19" crash-ride
14" hi hats
Tama bass drum pedal
Gibraltar hh stand and throne
DW cymbal stands and snare stand

Here are the drums before I had the yamaha mount installed. Also this is my 14x4 Slingerland snare and remo fiberskyn heads. I use regular coated ambassador heads now

And with a few different snares in this video

It was a "smooth jazz" gig at a winery. So, lots of funk and fusion. Yes. I used it a lot.
