A great Thomas Pridgen moment...fill starts at about 5.40.

I've spent what feels like about an hour trying to get this. I've got the second half of the bar (it's just alternating right hand and foot in 16th triplets) but what he does in the first two beats is proving really challenging to work out. Anyone else feel like taking up the challenge?

It sounds like he's also playing alternating right hand and foot in 16th note triplets, just orchestrated between the floor tom and open hi hat, then a choked left crash cymbal.

Would that it were so simple! The second half is alternating RH-RF 16th triplets with the kick on every other beat, with the right hand part going tom-crash-tom-tom-tom.
The first half, though, ends with a snare hit on the last 16th triplet, the floor tom is played twice, once simultaneously with the hihats, and there's some doubles on the snare at the beginning...

This is as far as I can get after watching and rewatching the footage over and over again, including in slow motion. It's been bugging me for ages!
