Greatest opening drum intro

Don’t care what y’all say the Catman was my hero at 7, he really came up with the perfect beats for every single song he played.
Gene Simmons complimented Criss fairly recently saying that although there have been more technical KISS drummers nobody in rock swings like Peter Criss. It's subjective of course, but you could see he really meant it.
Frehley also influenced just about every emerging rock guitarist with his signature licks and iconic vibrato.

Yeah Peter definitely had the strut, never really thought of it that way. There other drummers were/are great but give me Pete any day

This funky intro is integrated in my brain. I find myself playing the beat often, in various tempos.

Picked up the cd in Virgin Records in Times Square, New York back in the 90’s. Good memories

My Jazz instrumental band just added this to our playlist. It's a lot of fun to play!
I really like this version from the Buddy Rich tribute, "Burning for Buddy" with Dave Weckl.
