I've found that the Internet connection plays with the time too much, so I made a copy of the file in my Temporary Internet Files and placed it on my desktop, it keeps flawless time without the Internet connection messing with it. Of course you'll need the Quicktime player installed to use it.For increasing tempo or tempo changes, you will probably need a drum machine or sequencer.
For a regular metronome this is really good. It allows you to change the sound of the click as well as the tempo. It's not a download, so you'll need to have your computer or laptop near the drums.

Hint: If the metronome doesn't appear, hit the refresh button on your browser.
I´ve never heard of a drummer who needs to practise to speed up the tempo.metronom that has option to speed up the tempo. )
