Favourite Gig Pics

Two pics with a Big Band I play with (the ones wearing a suit ) and one just because I liked the former kit and people lined up to get in to see us . This was a Slingerland 80n Buddy Rich model kit with a ribbon mahogany outer veneer . Kit sounded great but the hardware was flimsy and unreliable .632ACB1E-C35B-42CB-AE37-0E9360ABDFFB.jpeg2774EE0A-F8CE-4197-A8E6-660DCE3B0505.jpegA670FBEE-0939-438F-A533-EEDA6125683E.jpeg

yep...it is a shame that it is no longer there...from what I have seen/heard, that part of NYC is pretty bland now...

you guys need to come through the midwest at some point...specifically C-bus!!! It would be cool to see you live!! I might even get my 52 year old ass in the pit again!!!
We are supposed to be coming over at some point in the lates Summer. Fingers & everything crossed.

The last show I played with my rockabilly band at the Rialto Theatre here in Tucson. Very popular place & I always wanted to play here.
I got pretty good at playing standing up thanks to the inspiration of Slim Jim Phantom & personally meeting Bob Stubbs of Social D/The Rhythm Dragons for personalized instruction.

Here's a nice evolution of my 'career' as a drummer. Enjoy.

I've been toying with trying this for ages :)

We all must have them. I love this one from a 'secret' pre-tour gig in Berlin, 2019

Killer photo! It's one of those that are really fun to inspect.

I don't have any of me except after a Sweetwater workshop with the Dead Deads ( I'm the tall dude behind Daisy (gal with flower in hair). They were total thrash punk and a very fun hang. After the workshop, I got a few snaps of their drummer at one of their performances.

Bob told me that his secret is to keep your hips moving. Not only does it keep your leg from locking up, but it makes a good stage visual as well. ;)
