I ran EZDrummer 2 on a laptop using the laptop's on-board audio, with a Roland TD-11 driving it, and the latency was awful so it was unusable. I did some searching and what seemed to be suggested in forums was that I needed an ASIO capable soundcard. so, I bought a Creative SounBlaster OMNI usb card, and now when I set the audio in EZDrummer to device type of 'ASIO' I just get no sound. If I set it back to MMe is works ok, but the latency is still there. Can anyone tell me if I'm heading in the right direction to get it working and have I bought the wrong soundcard maybe?
