Every tempo (bpm) feels slightly different

I definitely spend more time doing that.
Might not be for you, but the metronome is big fun for me when it's just me. I make up stuff all the time with it on or not. Flow has to be there, clicker or no clicker.
It's not "work." It's my hobby and is gratifying.

p.s. not anywhere near perfect and that is fine. and i know like four rudiments lol

Rock I re read your first post on this thread you started. What is it that you wanted to find out by starting a thread like this?

Well, I guess if I was trying to find out anything, it would be: how small increments of bpm people use in fine tuning smoothness between tempos.
But it was also a word of advice to other beginners that might be doing like i did and have only two or three bpm settings they use all the time.
