Evans Hydraulic or other

Recently bought a Ludwig Breakbeats kit. As is was not happy with the bass sound so have been trying different tricks. It's now much better than it was. My question is, how would an Evans hydraulic head go as a reso head? Thinking about this head out of aesthetics but if it's not going to help with sound then I won't worry. Is there anyone else that supply blue heads?

The hydraulic isn't a good reso head, because if you ever need to have a port, you can't cut these as the oil will leak out.

Cool. I wasn't aware of Remo's Colour line. Never showed up in any searches. I wasn't planning on putting in a port so that wouldn't have been an issue. But this (Remo) seems a better option anyway. Thanks.
