Drummers who don't get enough recognition?

Off the top of my head:

Prairie Prince from the Tubes - up there with any famous rock drummer. Not sure why he is so often ignored

Pierre Moerlen from Gong - up there with the Narada and Cobham. If he was American he would have been famous

Bob C Benberg from Supertramp - ultra tight, ultra tasteful, ultra imaginative. Doesn't play a lot of notes but he makes every note count

I feel that B.J Wilson, Chad Gracey and Bob Siebenberg are drummers who are somewhat underrepresented in the drumming vernacular.

How on earth B.J Wilson achieved that level of prowess is outta here.

I'm sure he could play a 7 piece kit of bottle tops and hit each one dead centre regardless of his speed.

Here's an underrated drummer, maybe the greatest rock drummer of the 60's. Mr. Robert Dennis Bottanelli, aka Dino Danelli.

The complete package" talent, chops, flash, high energy, showmanship.

Some of the 2 Tone drummers were really good: inventive parts and great skill, so Bradders from The Specials, then there's The Selecter and The Beat. Another couple of my favourites from that time are Rick Buckler and the seriously unrecognised Woody from Madness.

Bev Bevan of Electric Light Orchestra has always been a favorite. It's a shame that Jeff Lynne was so irritated by Bev going out as ELO Part II during the 90s (when Lynne was busy as a Wilbury and doing Beatles Anthology stuff). Kicking Bevan out of ELO for keeping the songs in front of live audiences for a decade seems a bit spiteful.
I've always loved his style. I was also surprised and impressed that he played with Black Sabbath for a time... I guess Britain is a smaller musician circle of people that we in the states realize.

I think it may be that they are from the Birmingham/Black Country area, so probably all knew each other from appearing on the same bills at local shows...

Not enough recognition?..Bobby Berge on Tommy Bolins Private eyes album has never been mentioned that I can ever ever remember. Give it a listen. Seveeeerly unrecognized.
His style reminds me of Bob Siebenberg, and maybe a lit like Roger Wilcox from Utopia, who is another excellent and tasteful player not mentioned much.

Ian Mosley : Steve Hackett and mostly Marillion.
Technical, creative but somewhat subdued.
I love his playing, I less like his drum sound, always a bit too soft in the mix in the studio albums.
His playing has inspired me a lot, cymbal use, china, use of toms in the rhythmic…
