Drummer Having (Too Much?) Fun

Maybe we need to post more interesting (to others) videos so that it's NOT a dead zone. Also some people need to get on with the times, if you are not promoting yourself in any way you might as well not play unless you have decided that not being in a band is what you want to do... but for any others even if your goal is just to play at local clubs you have to promote and social media is the platform, the days of flyers are long gone. (Even if you place flyers of your upcoming gig at the club that people are presently at watching another band, chances are 50 to 60 percent of them will not read it, but they will sure see it [in it's digital form] if they follow the club in social media).

I am here for the gear the conversations, the arguments, the good (and bad) advice, all the non drum related things, and yes to see some of your playing too.

That was my goal - post a short clip that's more interesting than here's me practicing rudiments on a drum pad or here me playing in my basement to a Toto song or here's a link to a 3 hour gig I played or........or whatever. Boring!!!!!

I was wayyyyyy over the top having fun and thought I'd share. Not to share me playing. but share my reaction and how in the moment meme-like I was.

The forum it's moved to Your Playing doesn't get any traffic.
