Double-time fill in Jazz?

Hi,

Beginner question. :)
I understand the basic time keeping patten in Jazz is triplet:

one-trip-let two-trip-let three-trip-let four-trip-let

If i want to double the time in a fill, how should the beats be divided? In rock, I just play 16th notes. What do I play in Jazz? (Does my question make sense?)

If you were to double time it it would be:

1 2 ah 3 4+ah4+ah 1 2 ah 3 4 ah

At least that's how my teacher shows me how to count 16th triplets.

I dont really understand all that well. What do you mean by double time fill? A fill that implies double time? Or just a fill using sextuplets (Those are twice as fast as triplets)?

fill using sextuplets.

Theres youre answer then. As sixteenth notes relate to eigth notes (twice as fast), sextuplets relate to triplets.
