I was looking for old Ludwig cymbal mount for a bass drum

Found these mounts, but I have absolutely no idea what they are or how they are used.

Anyone have an idea?

Here is the pic from ebay and the listing

Maybe they are clamps to hang traps off of a cymbal stand or a bass drum mount.
???

Traps? I've been racking my brain and can't figure it out....................maybe it isn't even drum/percussion related.............I was hoping one of the Vintage Ludwig experts would know what they were.

Those are "adult toys" marketed to Australians, both male and female. Hope that helps.

I think they were used to mount a trap table on top of a bass drum.I'll have to dig out my older catalogs to be sure.

If anyone could figure it out, thought you'd know..................I'm going to google some of those old trap tables and see what comes up

Ouch

Whatever they are I am sure that I don't want one. :)

Yep, doesn't look useful, but definitely made me curious

I found one on the internet and it said that it is a bass drum cymbal mount. I too saw one of these and didn't know what it is. However I am not really sure how it works.
