How could you not love to look at this?
You are a sadistic @#$%!

When you look at your drums you are, in a very real way, looking at yourself. Not other instrument is so personalized as the drum set.
All the time spent finding just the right level and angle of your toms and your cymbals, the end result of all that visually is a reflection on the physical and mental you as a drummer, which I think is very interesting in a way.
The centre of your lounge? Wow, an honour indeedMusical instruments are beautiful things and my Gurus are eye candy, with pride of place in the middle of my lounge room like a feature sculpture.
So true. I'm lucky enough to take that aspect to the next level. Every single detail is a realisation of a vision (no Pearl references please - damn, that's another Pearl reference - damn, done it again)When you look at your drums you are, in a very real way, looking at yourself. Not other instrument is so personalized as the drum set.
As anti prejudice as I am, unfortunately, this is true most of the time, especially when there's an apparent lack of care, or obvious complete misunderstanding of how to get the instrument sounding good.usually when you walk in a room and you look at the drums, you'll know if the drummer can play... 80% of the time, the way the kit is set up tells a lot about the drummer.
