Critique my drumming

Hi,

Attached is a recording I made in the bands living room.

----if you can listen before you read on. I'm keen on an unbiased opinion, I'm about to attempt to bias things. :)

Basically I lay down some form of beat and then we jamb for a while. It's all improvised, we are just having fun. None of us have been taught music so we don't really know how to make songs, we just play together. I hope this recording conveys what it feels like to hang around and just play music with your mates all the time. I'd love to know what it makes you feel just based on the music.
Anyways, I would really like peoples opinions on everything. Especially my drumming.

Thanks, piece and good swill to all.

The guitar effect becomes really anoying very soon, so I couldn't really listen to your drumming un-biased. What I think I've heard is that you change your beat every time. Not really steady, very busy, not nearly as groovy as I think you can play.

Thanks for the input, I do change the beat all the time. Because I forget what I was playing four bars ago...

:)

I

not bad man but definately practice timing with a metronome more, and without. it speed up and slows down a lot. as for the patterns, you came up with some tasteful rhythms.

Thanks Groove ;)

I chase the click but you can never chase it enough.

I like to mess with the tempo when we are jambing because you can use it to build and build and build then charge then drop back into something comfy and phat. I need to make it less noticeable :)

No one has ever called my drumming tasteful. Cheers for putting a smile on my dial. :)
