Class A Drummer

I just obtained a book known as "Best of Dave Matthews Band for Drums." Wow. Difficult.
I've played through drum books covering the music of Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Rush, and Dream Theater, all of which were more difficult to play than the previous, but I was always able to at least sight read most of the songs.
I just started trying to learn "Rapunzel," and it is on a whole different level. While the majority of the hits don't seem that hard, playing it is gonna take a whole lot of practice I can tell. I think one of the hardest parts of this song is the fact that you can barley tell what Carter is doing from listening to the music. His ghost notes are so quiet yet precise. I've always know Beauford as one of the powerhouses of modern day drumming, but now I have even more respect for the man.
Most of this song is simple enough i've found (the 4/4 section) but the 5/4 section (intro and other parts of the song) just blow right past me. The 6/8 is a relativley simple. While yes, he does play some crazy stuff their too, I can atleast feel it right off the bat, unlike the 5/4 sections which make me want to curl up in a ball.
Fun summer ahead
