Got to see Santana last night, a few blocks from my house. (Walked to the show, heh)

Cindy Blackman is a bad-a$$! The other percussionists were awesome, as well, but I was just mesmerized watching and listening to her thru the whole show.

Amazing show, Santana and his band killed it, and she was awesome.

While I have never seen her with Santana, I have watched her live with Lenny Kravitz 3 times and she never disappointed. Excellent drummer and a treat to watch.

She is good.........and I like that song "Black Magic Marker."
 
She is an incredible drummer who really pays attention to her physical well being. She's a woman with the power of a Tony Williams. Energy beyond belief and keeping it into her 60s. She has chops, fire, groove and musicality.
 
Great, great drummer. I've never seen her live unfortunately.
Most of my Agop cymbals are her signature models (Om and Mantra).
