Thank you. I was real happy with my performance that evening not perfect but not terrible . I've certainly had worse evenings. We had four rehearsals and only one with the keyboard player he lives two states away now..That's a real tough song to pull off!!! Well done to you all - damn solid, especially from a band that hasn't played regularly for such a long time. Respect
Thank you. I've always been a bit backwards LOL"Wow".....just. Wow. Love the song, love how you guys performed it. Not just tight-but tight with feeling. I'll say it one more time-great job!
(Even more amazing-you did it left handed!!!)
Thank you. It was a blast for the band to get back together. We were not a cover band in the 80s we did it original music , Christian rock and we were heavily influenced by bands like Kansas. I have six more Kansas songs that we did that night, that I'll probably post another time. A couple of my favorites are what's on my mind and people of the south wind. Thanks for watchingMan after 29 years the band still "has got it". That was stellar and after such a long hiatus and few rehearsals. Ten years is a long life for a cover band but Kansas offered plenty of great songs with lasting appeal. Job well done all around!!! I bet it was great fun for the band to reunite talk about new times and old times-and the best of times.
Wow thanks a lot that's a great compliment. We've all been playing around 50 years now. Not together though LOLRock solid! I’ve never heard any band pull that off as well as you guys did. Now there’s a cover tune I can watch and listen to again!
Well it took my computer several hours to load the video on to Windows Movie Maker. Now I need to go in and separate the songs into separate videos. That one I took from our bass players YouTube page. I'll post more in the future but not sure exactly when. Thank you for respondingWhat can I say? You guys simply nailed it. My last band played that song at every gig, so I know how hard it is to play - and easy to get lost!
Where can we see more of that gig? Kansas is one of my favorites, and I'd love to see more.
