With the band I only use a four piece, and as for my style that's a good question haha.
I'm a big fan of Thrice and I've been watching and listening to their drummer Riley. I guess his style has worked its way into mine somewhat. I'm a basher if I need to be (which usually isn't all that often, not at much as Riley at least), but I try to make it groove as well.
 
My first drum kit had that finish.
I love it, man that brings back memories.
I really would like to have a kit with that finish.

Nice. What models?
I started using my crashes as hats because I was looking for a different sound out of my hats. I perviously used 14" Xs20s, which are decent hats, I was just in the mood for something new. Now that I'm used to the feel and response of 18" hats, I don't know when I'll go back to more conventional sizes, if ever :D
