This one stings a bit. I've followed Bob off and on since 1985, when I saw his group, the Fringe (with George Garzone & John Lockwood) warm up for McCoy Tyner's trio (with Avery Sharpe and Louis Hayes) at the Berklee Performance Center. From there, I followed him at least every other Monday when they played two sets ($5 Cover Charge) at 'the Willow'. I cannot begin to describe what a high level player and teacher he was. Rest in Peace, Bob.

I had fun watching some of his videos on Youtube since I have managed to learn drum tricks.
I usually rely on the streaming platform to learn new stuff including the installation of
Black Rock wheels that I recently purchased for our old truck.
