Bob Gatzen's drum frame

I have been looking into getting one of Bob Gatzen's drum frames. Does anyone here have one and if so what do you think of it?

From what I can tell it allows the feet to have a floating type of feeling when using the drum frame (I haven't played on one myself but this is the way it looks). Is this correct?

I have used one in the past and I kept finding that I was leaning forward to reach cymbals etc. It wasn't my kit so it wasn't set up for me, FYI.

Agree Andy - there are some amazing piano trios out there - this crew, Hiromi, the Bad Plus, The Necks ...

Seems that the main comment about it from their endorsers is comfort and consistency in setting up.

Yes, I stumble across more great stuff all the time. This interweb thingy is great!

As for comfort, the music's certainly laid back.

Yeah, i'd put that up there with the BOA pedal. No thanks.
