Best way to have hi hat pedal positioned with double pedal

I haven't tried swapping the left pedal to be clamped on the bass, (all honesty wouldn't want to but open) and don't wanna mess with electric hi hats. Any suggestions?

A two legged hi hat stand, or a three legged stand that rotates, will allow you to put your hat and slave pedals right next to each other.

If your three legged stand does not rotate, there is a good chance it can be made to do so.

Thank you, but by rotating hi hat you mean what exactly?

The legs. It allows you to do this:

See how the legs are rotated off to the left side? You can nest the slave bass pedal right next to the right side of the hi hat pedal.

A non rotating stand can usually be made to do this. Not always, but usually. You just remove the screw/rollpin/allen bolt from the bottom collar of the tripod. You can now rotate the tripod.
