Here are some old clips from when I stopped playing 10 years ago. (Getting back on the train now) Wanted to get a general impression.

They are audio clips - converted them from WMA to MP3 which should work, has something to do with the User Account Control on Windows XP - security not letting me upload. Trying to figure out how to disable it without ruining my system.

I've got a way to get around it with my dvd software. I can create a production, put audio in the background and upload it to YouTube, then post the link. Probably will just see a picture of a fish the whole time just not to distract. There is really nothing spectacular, just want to get a general impression. I'm excited about getting back into drumming after a long layoff.

Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. It's best to put a driver's seat picture of your drumset in, so viewers can imagine what you are playing.

I got the clips uploaded to YouTube last night. I also included the last clip which is a video I shot fishing out of my kayak in September and October of this year. I put my keyboard music in the background. I do it all on a music workstation synthesizer. The only reason I put it here is that I put in all the drum parts from the bottom up. Its good being a former drummer knowing what to put in where. So here it is.

Uh oh, the death knell is sounding - no comments? Maybe it was the right thing when I stopped playing. Looks like I'll have a lot of work ahead if I pick it up again. At least I still have my keyboards and have gotten a lot of good feedback there. Plus my shoulder is shot for the time being so it might be just as well. If you can wade through this and give me any constructive criticism, it'll be appreciated.

I've officially deleted my audio clips from Youtube, This has been a little embarassing but I'll be sure to post something up again when I get my playing together again.

Don't worry, most of these guys only comment on a previledged few.

I hear you - there are probably exceptions to that, but to those of us who don't get the feedback, it doesn't always apply. I'm trying to be diplomatic here, as I'll try again in the future, don't want any hard feelings. I put about 4 hours into putting those clips together and uploading them, so it was a little discouraging. Hey, it was maybe at points a little inaudible, but not trash.

Anyway, at this point, even if I'm playing on my practice pad its affecting my shoulder and flaring it up. I probably need another operation, but my insurance won't cover it. Such is life.

So for now I'll get back to the keyboards, but I'll still visit here from time to time and keep my dream alive. Hopefully I'll be able to post something that will get some kind of response. I feel your pain.
