Another 'how much is X cymbal worth?' thread

I didn't want to hijack the B8 thead so I'd like to pose a slightly different question. I'm in the UK so our cymbals are more pricey than in America.

Out of the whole list of stuff I've got for sale below only 2 cymbal stands have sold. I just don't want to give stuff away but I'm struggling to sell all this stuff. Is there an argument to say I should keep all of this stuff as it gives me different options?

I have 6 Mapex Tornado boom stands for sale - £15 each or £80 for the lot.
Janus Double Bass Pedal w/ soft case - £120

I have a Le Blond Cymbal case which I am willing to flog for £5. I just dont need it any more as I have some nice cymbal cases.
 
Fellow Brit here. And I'd say those prices are fine mate, on par with what stuff normally goes for. Just wait. the market will pick up soon hopefully. I got some cymbals listed two 17" crashes hoping to clear them out soon, hope the market does pick up for you and I and other sellers

Maybe I'd have better success listing them individually, with some pictures. Its a laborious task but pictures will probably do them more justice.

If I can get it all sold then I'm gonna look to buy a kit that allows me to have the full range of toms from 8" to 18", hate my Mapex Meridian kit being limited to just 10/12/14 and 16. I love 13" toms and 8" toms are great. Wouldnt use them all at once but its nice to have the different options depending on what band I'm in...

The 'market' does seem kind of dry at the moment but I am not going to let stuff go ridiculously cheap either. I'm not desperate for money, just would like to reinvest it into different equipment.

Yeah normally items sold individually are better then sold as a group. And pictures always help. and yeah. now that easters over and everyones off their holidays s

Only if you think you might use it. Otherwise, just give it time. Don't know what prices are like over there, but they don't seem unreasonable.

I like both sets of hi hats you have. Out of the stuff you've got listed I'd keep those.
