ABC's of Rock and Metal

This is certainly an odd request I'll admit, but I'm currently taking a graphic design class this semester of college, and our final project is a children's book. I decided to write and illustrate "The ABC's of Rock and Metal". I've got most of the letters figured out, but I'm stumped on I, J, Q, U, X, Y, and Z. Besides musicians and band names, anybody have any suggestions?

If you're not doing band names, then what are you doing?
Perhaps a few examples of what you already have would help.

But here is one:

Q - Quantize: What too many metal bands do to their drum tracks.

I - Independence - what rock drummers need to be able to play

J - Jazz - the grand daddy of rock

Q - Quiet - you won't find any of that here!

U - Upbeat

I agree. If possible, please post some examples of what you already have finished. What is the underlying theme (besides the alphabet) for the book?

The teacher discouraged us from using real people or copyrighted things. I'm not going into graphic design, but I think she does that for the people that are. To prepare them for the real world or something like that. I'm thinking my theme will be to write some little narrative poem explaining the purpose/function of each thing. Anyway here's what I have so far.
