70's tom mounting ?'s

Are there any tom mount systems that won't work with a early 70's Gretsch kit? I'm looking at the Pearl ISS systems. Also, my kit has never had the bottom hoops on them for the last 20 yrs, kick included, do I need to worry about the drums being out of round or will the new hoops correct any out of round issues? also will any hoops do or do I need to find vintage Gretsch hoops?And last but not least whats the best way to control the ring of a drum with bottom heads on them. Mine don't have any dampeners with them and I figured there is probably something better now days anyway. Thanks in advance. Mark
