Just picked up a pack… Stoked. 22” ride. The 24” seemed slightly dark for me while the 22” was perfect to my ears.

Meinl is criminally underrated like Mapex. That’s my message.

Zildjian makes the best 2002 Meinls.

I hate to brag, but I just went to Paiste after 40 years on Zildjians and I'm wondering why I haven't done this sooner. I think my 24" Masters Thin Ride sounds more K-like than my K's.

But I'm sure Meinl makes great K's too. Thousand two.

I grouped Meinl and Mapex as a separate comment. Both get no love. I’d put a Saturn against any kit and Meinl Darks are awesome. I paired them with my 2002s.

I love both Paiste and Meinl, so I'm all in for both. Unluckily for my OCD... At least, I keep my cymbal love within Europe

Whenever I play/hear Paiste 2002s, I almost always think "glassy." Would I if I hadn't heard them described that way so often? I assume not, and yet the description fits so well.

Like Goldilocks and the porridge..id played the 22 2002 for more than a decade but when I put stick to bow on the 24 I thought it was juuust right.
