18” crash Paiste GB or 602 thin or...

Thank you. Play at home mostly so feel like the 2002 is more concert crash by most accounts so between that and GB I plan on going the GB route. Signature I feel is priced close enough here to the 602 and I may as well go all the way. I have an option of a discounted 602 with a slight bend...

Hi there Graduated from eDrums recently so fleshing out first acoustic kit. Already have 20” 602 traditional medium ride and 12”Copeland hihats and love them both (got a good Xmas deal for them). I play anything from jazz to 70’s rock to reggae. So now I am hunting for an 18” crash and...

Hi. Sorry to revive. About to pull the trigger on one of these. Any negative comments from people who have been using these for a few years please?

    Ludwig 110th anniv mahogany drum

The white one is available to me around 5800usd which has me thinking hard. Massive investment... Only 20 available worldwide but wondering how has the trajectory of previous limited set price been? Are these meant for playing at all or to keep for resale value it has to be babysat? Thanks

Ludwig's new Signet 105 drum line!

Hello krub! Curious to hear what you have to say about the signet. This is Intermusic you refer to? Am considering that vs the Neusonic at the moment

Hi guys. Happy 2020! Just curious. From what I hear from available clip they sound quite similar. Weight nearly the same too. Wonder if anyone has compared these two before? Cheers!

    Beginner+Newbie here/drum set advice

Def going to pay the CMC factory a visit to see what’s possible before I commit to anything. For now the neusonic is the front runner but even for those I have to wait until end Jan (the last one that came a couple of days back for snapped up immediately I didn’t get a chance to go and test them...

Btw re hardware. There’s a chance if I go the Ludwig route I will need sturdier cymbal stands to hold the toms? The 5700 looks a little light for my comfort but perfectly great for my ride. Cheers

There is some. Not too extensive and for the good stuff maybe only 30pct off from normal which starts higher to begin with.

Thank you :-) Yes will def check them out first. And def no Tama! Even in Singapore where my wife and son are they are a third cheaper! So if I were to buy any of their specific hardware it won’t be here.

Actually there is a local Thai brand I am considering. It’s called CMC. I suppose hardly anyone in the forum would have heard of it but apparently half the respectable/famous drummers use their drums here. Its supposed to be available fairly bespoke since factory is local. If it’s Chinese vs...

Was just reading up on the Neusonic. May pay a bit more for that. Seems better value as I get same price as signet for one fewer tom tom. Decisions...

    NeuSonic vs. Signet

Here where I live it’s the 4 piece signet at the same price as the 3 piece neusonic. Additional cost for a 10”Tom is almost 400 though... crazy expensive where I am... jealous of you guys

Thank you for confirming my impression that Tama is way too expensive here too.. Signet’s big draw for me is it’s made in USA though maybe that’s overrated in this price bracket (am I risking serious blasphemy here...) Perhaps I can get around to trying both that and the Pearl. Certainly not as...

    Beginner+Newbie here/drum set advice

Hi. From Thailand here. Looking to buy first drum set. Flexible budget. Already own the 110th anniv black beauty 14x6.5, Paiste 12” Copeland hihat, formula 602 classic 20”ride. Purpose mostly learning/playing for personal pleasure. V unlikely to ever perform gigs. From reading various Western...
