My friend is always saying i shouldnt buy clear drum skins, because coated are the best and take longer to wear out. what do you think? what do you use?

i only have like £200 and i want to get every thing i need with that
7 mics ( 3 toms, a snare, bass drum and 2 overheads)
7 leads for those mics
4 clips for the mics
and a mixer to put em through

I dont understand any of this technical info as i have never had drum mics before.
What do we think?
Snare/tom mic:
Frequency Response: 50Hz – 16kHz
Sensitivity: - 54dB (+/- 2dB) (0dB = 1V/Pa at 1kHz)

I cant decide what snare to get, a sonor force 2007 in red amber, or a sonor force 3007 in autumn fade.
