    Maybe an Atlas problem?

I have a friend on another forum, who had this exact same problem. Same sizes, same atlas mounts, but different drums.(Ludwig Maple Classics) I’ve never been a fan of those mounts that replace a lug, to me it’s too close to the edge of the drum.

    3D Printed Drums?

J-M is still in business. The reason for not taking orders, is Scott Jenkins has been dealing with a debilitating back problem, and is unable to build the drums right now.

Quiet gigs but with a good feel - which 'stick'?

I alternate between a pair of Vater “Jazz Ride” sticks and ProMark “Hot Rods” in these gig situations. Depends on if the songs need a more refined ride sound, or a rim click.

Why All Drummers Need a 14x8 Snare...

I picked up an offset Pearl stand that goes really low, for when I use my J-M 8x14.

    Dunnett swivel strainer

Can you show the damaged throwoff? I’m wondering if it just disengaged, as the bottom piece snaps off/on for easy snare side head changes. Btw, beautiful snare drum!

Why the 17" hi hats are so cool

I have Paiste 16” and 17” Traditional thin crashes that I absolutely love. I do have some early 80’s original Sabian HH crashes, in those same sizes. I think I’m going to experiment, and see how they sound. Btw, my go to hi-hats, are early 80’s 15” Paiste SE!

Interesting that you have the 13” tom ahead of the 12” tom. Looks cool though!
