There is a hi range mode for snare reso heads. You may also have to move the tune bot to different places around the hoop of you are getting wonky readings.

Too bulky and clunky. I change them out with DW mini mags which also have adjustable hole spacing.

I have 7 A&F snares and love them. I play them the most out of all my snares. Awesome drums!!!
